Doctors and Nurses

from Ghost Sex EP by Morning, Sexy

/

about

Originally this song was called God Doesn't Mean Anything with the premise based on my own struggle and eventual falling out of religion and church. The song wasn't meant to slander anyone just express my own relationship with god.

lyrics

Doctors and nurses and lawyers a like are here to save our lives but god's got a plan for you. And you know it doesn't involve him. Doctors and nurses and lawyers alike are here to save our lives. I'd trust president to take care of my baby at war. But you can't understand me cause you can't hear anymore. Police men and hippies businesses alike are here to contrast their lives for us for us for us for you and me. But we know that god doesn't mean anything.

Lay your scabs upon the ground.

I can't go alone its the lack of company that bums me out.
And i am alone still maybe one day we can figure it out.

You can show me the way better sex and better places to be.
I will come a long and teach you to sing your own songs.

I can't go alone its a lack of company that bums me out.
I am alone still maybe one day we can figure it out.

At night before I got to bed I think of the dreams to come and I don't need your help to day but maybe one day.

Preachers and Pastors and Bishops alike are here to save our lives but god doesn't mean anything.
